Genovese

Despite the name (from Genoa) this recipe comes from Naples! 

It’s a lovely onions 🧅 stew , very easy to make (especially if you use a slow cooker)

Beef lean meat (750gr)
Finely chopped Onions (1kg)
Wine (half glass)
Olive oil, salt , pepper


Add olive oil to the pan and brown the meat, then add all the onions, half glass of wine, salt and pepper and leave it too for few hrs (I use a slow cooker for 8 hrs on low setting) until the meat is completely tender.

You can eat it with pasta and Parmesan cheese or with some nice bread
